We assist you to take fingerprints for FBI and other government’s registration.

You are in the right place if you need to submit fingerprints form when you apply a government-related employment or a workplace with strict screening policy.

We are ready to record your fingerprints for FBI registration. In Japan, the police station will never provide this kind of service for ordinary citizens.

No. We are not an FBI-approved channeler (a third party that helps deliver your information to the FBI). We only assist you to take fingerprints for the application of the
Identity History Summary Checks.

You can download the application form from the FBI website. You must also submit a set of your fingerprints.

The FBI will send your police certificate when they receive your application form, fingerprints card, and a certified cheque or money order for the processing fees (payable to the U.S. Treasury).

Will Japanese Police take our fingerprints?

At the head police station in each prefecture, they will assist your fingerprinting for FBI form. However, they will not sign the form for no matter what reasons. Therefore, in the end, the fingerprinting taken by the Japanese police can’t be used for the purpose of FBI criminal record checks.

Is ORI number assigned to your agency?

No. We don’t have an ORI (Originating Agency Identifier) number.

As we are supposed to provide fingerprinting service in Japan, an ORI number could not be assigned to a foreign agency.

Below is the reply from NCIC (FBI) when asking a question about this.

Date: Sat, Apr 14, 2018, 02:45

ORI assignments for licensing and employment purposes are generally processed by a State Identification Bureaus (SIBs) based upon state statutes authorizing a fingerprint background check.

Are you certified by the foreign governments?

No.

We provide a fingerprinting skill and sign on any official documents as a witness. But we are not directly certified by any of the overseas public offices. Plese make sure if the organization asking your fingerprint is OK with our signature as a private agency.

As we are based in Japan, there is no way we are officially certified by the overseas governments. Usually, licenses and permits fix their jurisdiction. For example, US license will not be valid outside the US soil. Japanese license does not make any sense in the US.

Can you provide this service in Osaka as well?

I am sorry. But we currently provide this service only in Tokyo office.

There is no regular staff who can handle the fingerprint recording in Osaka office.

However, there is some time when the person in charge of fingerprinting service happens to be in Osaka office. Please contact us for our availability.

Can I just walk-in, or do I need to make an appointment first?

Please make a reservation. We are basically fielding investigators. We are not always at our office.

Also, please be advised that we may have to put off the appointment just in case we get an urgent field operation.
