【Grounds for Refusal of Return of Child】
1. One year has passed since the removal or the retention;
2. The petitioner did not have custody;
3. The petitioner had given prior consent or approved the removal or retention of the child;
4. Domesitic Violence, child abuse;
5. The child objects to being returned;
6. It’s not good rof the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms.;
In case you reside in Japan and your child was taken away by TP domestically, there is no legal support from the Japanese government. You must solve this issue at your own cost.

You can get access to the Koseki Family Registry Record of your child, with which you can track the address history of your child in Japan. However, you need to know the permanent domicile (Honseki) and the name of the head of the family (Hittousha).
It is not easy to get a child custody in Japanese courts if you are the father. But it is possible to get it if you can prove that the mother
You need to start a meditation or an adjunctive at a local family court to make the TP accept your visitation right.
